Productive, late maturing. Tight, tasty sprouts from December to February. Strong stem and root system, stands well in the cold. Coated seeds to aid visibility when sowing.
Growing Information
Crops 30-36 weeks from sowing. Tasty autumn/winter/spring vegetable. For maincrops, sow on a finely raked ‘seedbed’ outdoors early March-late April. For early crops, sow in frames or under cloches during February. Transplant to final growing positions at 60?90cm apart in well-firmed soil May-early June. Harvest September-February. Plant firmly on light soils and earth up around the stems in autumn as the plants may topple (technically known as ‘lodging’) over with autumn winds.
