Flat-topped roots, white with purple crown. Quick maturing, useful in frames and under cloches. Tender when young, with an excellent mild, sweet flavour. Popular in Northern areas.
Growing Information
Suitable for early sowing under cloches. Sow May-July outdoors. For Turnip tops – sow in August, scattering seed thinly and evenly on prepared soil. Rake in lightly. (6-10 weeks maturity)
